A Linenbacked French Travel Poster (measures 15 1/4" x 22 3/4" [39 x 58 cm]) (Learn More)

Les Avions Rouges (literally translates to "The Red Planes"), the 1930s French travel poster encouraging people to visit Le Bourget airport in Paris, and featuring art of a Farman F.190 flying over the Le Bourget airport by J. Levesque! Note that, based on the plane's aircraft registration number, it was used from 1929 to 1936. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had slight darkening around the edges, with some small tears in the left and right borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
