An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Two Fisted Law, the 1932 D. Ross Lederman cowboy western starring Tim McCoy (billed as "Daredevil Tim McCoy in His Latest and Greatest Outdoor Romance"), Alice Day, John Wayne (who was so unimportant at the time that the poster artist didn't even bother to picture him, although he is prominently billed), Walter Brennan, Wheeler Oakman, Tully Marshall, and Wallace MacDonald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that John Wayne was not yet a major star, and so he received third billing and was not pictured on the one-sheet! Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good. There was tape on the back of all the foldlines, which covered some paper loss and caused some staining along all the foldlines. There was paper loss in the corners and some paper loss in the middle of the top and bottom borders. The poster was really expertly restored (almost surely by Igor Edelman) and it really looks wonderful now, and I doubt many people would have any idea as to the extent of the restoration unless it was specifically shown to them!
