A Linenbacked Spanish Special Poster (measures 8 1/2" x 12" [22 x 30 cm]) (Learn More) Carreras de Motos (literally translates to "Motorcycle Racing"), the 1930s Spanish sports poster promoting a motorcycle race and featuring art of a two men racing. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had darkened and had a 4" vertical tear in the upper right. It had some tiny tears and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but after it was backed, it acquired faint brown dot stains in the excess linen and more significantly, the poster was roughly handled, and it acquired a diagonal crease through the left of the image, both in the poster and in the image (see our image).
