An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More) Tuntematon sotilas (released in English-speaking countries as "The Unknown Soldier"), the 1955 Edvin Laine Finnish World War II (WWII) Finland military melodrama ("The tremendous epic of the ordinary soldier in World War II"; "Based on the novel by Vainno Linna"; about a group of Finnish soldiers defending the country from Russian attack) starring Kosti Klemela, Heikki Savolainen, Reino Tolvanen, Veikko Sinisalo, and Ake Lindman. Note that the movie was submitted to the Cannes Film Festival, but it presented the Russians in an unfavorable light and political pressure was put on the Cannes people and the movie was withdrawn!
