Driftwood, Chico Marx as Fiorello, and Harpo Marx as Tomasso), Kitty Carlisle (as Rosa Castaldi), Allan Jones (as Ricardo Baroni), Walter Woolf King (billed as "Walter King"; as Rodolfo Lassparri), Sig Ruman (as Herbert Gottlieb), and Margaret Dumont (as Mrs. Claypool). Note that MGM added a romantic plot to the Marx Bros. typical screwball comedy, and it really adds to the movie, as Carlisle and Jones have real chemistry together, and their songs are excellent. Of course, this is also the movie that has the Marx Bros.' most famous comedy scene, the "stateroom" scene, plus the great scene of Groucho and Chico attempting to sign a contract!
