Murnau German silent good-vs-evil fantasy melodrama ("An UFA Production"; based on the play by Johann Wolfgang Goethe; about the Devil offering an aging chemist success, money, youth, and love, in return for his soul) starring Gosta Ekman (in the title role as Faust), Emil Jannings (as Mephistopholes), Camilla Horn, Frida Richard, William Dieterle, and Hanna Ralph NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" item for this German movie! Note that this is completely unlike German programs of this time, which were normally 4 or 8 pages. This is a deluxe softcover book with a square binding, and it has an image of the actual 1926 German poster that was created for this movie on the first interior page, and the writing on the cover is in embossed gold lettering. It also has 23 scene photos from this movie on interior pages. We imagine this special program was made because of this being such an important movie. Note only have we not seen this program book before, but we have never seen another like it from any other German movie of this time period! Condition: good to very good.
