An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Maris Wrixon was an actress from the 1930s to the 1960s. She was signed to a contract by Warner Bros. in 1939 when she was 22, and she appeared in a couple dozen movies in the next couple of years, and even though she was pretty and sexy, she never really "clicked", and by the end of World War II, her movie career was over, although she made some TV appearances in the 1950s and 1960s. Fortunately, in 1940, she married distinguished German film editor and head of post production, Rudi Fehr (who was Jewish, and fled Germany in 1936), and they remained married for 59 years until they both passed away in 1999 (months apart). Some of her movies include: The Ape (the best role of her career), Phantom Lady, Meet John Doe, High Sierra, and Black Market Babies. She passed away in 1999 at the age of 82.
Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed.
