eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result e683 HERCULES, SAMSON, & ULYSSES Australian daybill movie poster '65 Date Sold 9/6/2005Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (measures approximately 13" x 30") (Learn More) Ercole Sfida Sansone (released in the U.S. in 1965 as "Hercules, Samson, and Ulysses") the 1963 Pietro Francisci Italian Roman mythology sword & sandal action adventure fantasy epic starring Kirk Morris (in the title role as Ercole/Hercules), Iloosh Khoshabe (born Iloosh Khoshabe, billed under several names, as "Rod Flash Ilush", as "Ilush", as "Rod Flash" and as "Richard Lloyd"; in the title role as Sansone/Samson), Enzo Cerusico (in the title role as Ulysses), Liana Orfei, and Aldo Giuffre. Note that we don't exactly know how or why this movie started out as "Hercules Challenges Samson" (in the Italian version), but when it made it the U.S. two years later, Ulysses had made it into the title! The original Italian posters show Hercules and Samson fighting, with sexy Liana Orfei as Delilah looking on, but the U.S. posters don't have her, and they use a similar image of Hercules and Samson, but with Ulysses added in! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This item is in quite nice condition (what many dealers would describe as "fine", but more likely as "near mint" or "mint")! It MAY have a very few extremely minor defects, but we feel that this item would be acceptable to every collector! Learn More about condition grades
