Texas, the 1941 George Marshall cowboy western ("A thundering epic of heroic adventure!"; "BIG as the mighty State it glorifies! Fast as the flight of a blazing bullet!"; "Thrill to a mighty cavalcade of breathtaking action"; "The savage saga of the great Southwest... written in blazing bullets... flailing fists... and wildly beating hearts"; "Story by Michael Blankfort and Lewis Meltzer") starring William Holden, Claire Trevor, Glenn Ford (very young in this role!), George Bancroft, and Edgar Buchanan. Note that the year before, Columbia Pictures had made "Arizona", and this movie was rushed out due to the success of that earlier movie!

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this scene card, and that was 18 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened, typical of Columbia lobby cards of this period. There are many pinholes and creases around the edges, with creases and scuffs scattered throughout, including a few in the stars' faces. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
