An Original Undated (probably 1947; from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 39 1/2" x 81 1/4" [100 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Tomorrow the World!, the 1944 Leslie Fenton World War II (WWII) Home Front disturbed teen family relationship melodrama ("'He's a DRIP!'"; "'He's a KILLER!'"; "'He's TREACHEROUS!'"; "'He's CHARMING!'"; "'Soft, Stupid, Strange People, You Americans ...no match at all for Emil!"; "'You Americans are strange people!'"; "Screenplay by Ring Lardner Jr. and Leopold Atlas... From the successful Stage Play by James Gow and Arnaud D'Usseau"; "By the same producer who will bring you Ernie Pyle's 'G.I. Note that it appears that United Artists was somewhat afraid of the subject matter of this movie, especially the downbeat aspect and the Nazi connection, and its posters for this movie made it difficult to have any idea what the movie was about, and they only showed a head shot of a smiling Homeier, who looked nothing like a Nazi youth! Important Added Info: Note that this Italian three-panel was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap. It is an unusual Italian size. Right after World War II, Italian posters were made in odd sizes, and it was not for several years until they "standardized" their posters into the now traditional one-panel and two-panel sizes. We used to think that they only made these "Italian three-sheets" right at the end of World War II, but in 2015, we were consigned a 1954 Italian three-sheet, and also a 1953 Italian three-sheet, so we know that they continued with this size until that time (but they are surely extremely rare). Also note that this Italian poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap (he theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display; this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). Condition: good. The theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). The poster is fragile and there are some tears and small areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
