Note that fantasy artist H.R. Giger did the wonderful art that was used to create the alien and the alien planet, but his art was not used on any of the regular posters, only on special prints created after the movie became a hit! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has light rippling throughout with some slightly heavier rippling at left (see our image). There is some general fold and border wear. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the rippling can be removed during linenbacking, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
