David 'Davy' Crockett was an American folk hero, frontiersman, soldier and politician from the 1780s to the 1830s. He represented Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives, served in the Texas Revolution, and is often referred to as the "King of the Wild Frontier". Crockett died at the Battle of the Alamo the Alamo in 1936, at the age of 49.
