Take Carrie to the prom."; "If only they knew she had the power."; "Based on the novel by Stephen King"; about a high school outcast who unleashes her telekinetic powers in revenge against those who have humiliated her) starring Sissy Spacek (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Carrie), John Travolta (before he became a star, in an early role), Piper Laurie (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Amy Irving, William Katt, Betty Buckley, and Nancy Allen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a real oddity to the card pictured third at right. It has only black prining over the credits area and a thin white borer at top. It is on a thinner stock than the regular cards and the image is slightly "diagonal". It is likely a test print of some sort, or it could be cut from another item (it does have some evidence of trimming at right), but we cannot be 100% certain. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that the card at upper left gives away the wonderful surprise ending of the movie (I can only imagine the look on Stephen King's face when he learned that the distributors of the movie were posting a lobby card in the lobbies of theaters showing the movie that gave away the trick ending!). Condition: very good. The still mentioned above has some slight discoloration and rippling in a few portions of the edges. The regular mini lobby cards are in nice condition!
