If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. A MAJOR PORTION OF THIS CARD WAS RECREATED. The part of the card that was found measured 12" x 16". What was missing was a thin strip down the left side of the image and the top 6" of the card, which included all of the writing at the top and Chaplin's head and shoulders. A really talented restorer paperbacked the portion that was present along with a blank area where the missing parts belong, and then spent a great deal of time expertly recreating everything that was missing (using a known original as a guide). I would think the vast majority of people would not know that this recreation had been done if they were looking at it on the wall. But please do not bid on this card unless you can accept that it has had this major recreation of the top 6" and the left edge of the image. Learn More about condition grades
