An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 4 1/4" x 6") (Learn More) The Cabin in the Cotton, the 1932 Michael Curtiz romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the novel by Harry Harrison Kroll) starring Richard Barthelmess, Dorothy Jordan, Bette Davis (in an early, third billed appearance, this was the movie that first brought her to the public's attention, and included her classic line, "I'd like to kiss ya, but I just washed my hair"!), Hardie Albright, David Landau, and Berton Churchill. Note that Miss Davis was so little known by the public prior to the release of this movie that she received third billing and was not pictured on the posters (but she is pictured on the interior of the herald)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: This herald was folded in half at one time as was originally intended. Condition: very good. smudges in the white areas of the cover and on the back cover; 1 1/2" of separation in the top of the foldline as well as a few pairs of staple holes and some tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the herald (see the image at right); a few smudges, minor creases, and scuffs throughout the herald (more so around the edges) Learn More about condition grades
