Note that this movie is a remake of director Ozu's 1934 movie called "A Story of Floating Weeds", and most people consider this movie to be one of the greatest movies of all time, from any country! Also note that Yasujiro Ozu was a legendary Japanese writer and director from 1920s to the 1960s. He is likely the second best regarded Japanese director after Akira Kurosawa, and many of his films are considered classics, and his masterpiece is "Tokyo Story" from 1953, although he made movies from 1927 to 1962. First release Japanese posters of any kind from any of his movies are beyond rare! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
