An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Peggy Stewart was an actress from the 1930s to the 2010s, who played in many B-westerns. Some of her movies include: All This and Heaven Too, The Runaways, The Way West, 5th Ave Girl, and Beyond Evil. She passed away in 2019 at the age of 95. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Peggy Stewart! Apparently, our consignor was meeting Miss Stewart and did not have a still of hers for her to sign, but he had this great still of Bill Elliott in what was basically his first starring role, "The Great Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok" from 1938 (note that at that time, Elliott was still billed under his real first name of "Gordon", but once he became identified with Wild Bill Hickok, he changed his stage name to Wild Bill Elliott). Miss Stewart did work with Bill Elliott several times, but as she noted on this still, "This is before I knew Bill"! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. About the Collection this Item Comes From Note that this item (and 56 others we are auctioning this week, each in its own auction) was consigned to us by an individual who owned a company that made movies and videos with famous celebrities in the 1980s and 1990s. The owner of the company would have the celebrities sign items from their famous films, and sometimes he would find second or third celebrities to autograph an item he already had gotten signed! In addition, he would ask celebrities he came in contact with if they had signed items from other stars that they would sell to him, and he purchased a number of items that way. He also would purchase unsigned items from the famed Larry Edmunds Bookshop in Los Angeles (to have the celebrities sign), and while he was doing that he would also purchase some of their signed items. So all of these 57 autographed items we are auctioning were either obtained in person, obtained from celebrities who obtained them in person, or obtained from the Larry Edmunds Bookshop, and we feel certain that the autograph(s) on this item is authentic!
