A 1999 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Japanese "B1" Movie Poster (29x41; measures 29" x 40") (Learn More)

Joel and Ethan Coen's Blood Simple, the 1985 Coen Brothers (Joel Coen & Ethan Coen; in their directorial debut!) romantic crime murder film noir ("Breaking up is hard to do."; "The thriller lives!"; "Murder's hard the first time. After that it's 'Blood Simple'") starring John Getz, Frances McDormand (in her very first movie role!), Dan Hedaya, Samm-Art Williams, and M. Emmet Walsh. Note that this film was shown at several film festivals in 1984, but did not receive a general release until 1985!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures approximately 28 1/2" x 40 1/2"! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had a few extremely minor border defects and a few tiny scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
