Merian C. Cooper's The Last Days of Pompeii, the 1935 Ernest B. Schoedsack ancient Italy volcano eruption natural disaster epic ("Vesuvius is raging! Run for your lives! One of the most astounding big scenes ever screened is the climax of a love story 2,000 years old, that will live to the end of time!"; "Merian C. Cooper's gigantic spectacle drama") starring Preston Foster, Alan Hale Sr., Basil Rathbone, John Wood, Louis Calhern, David Holt, Dorothy Wilson, Wyrley Birch, Gloria Shea, Ward Bond, and John Davidson. Note that director Schoedsack had two years previously directed King Kong!

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1935 material from this movie is extremely scarce, likely because the movie had a double bill release with "She" in 1948, and that double-bill release seems to have used up all of the 1935 material. We have only previously auctioned two examples of this unusual window card (with a cool stylized font and layout) before, and the buyer of one of those has reconsigned it to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned!

Condition: very good to fine. There are some smudges around the edges, but otherwise, the card is in excellent condition!
