R60s Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Dracula, the classic 1931 Tod Browning Universal vampire monster horror thriller ("The Greatest of all Horror Thrillers"; "The Vampire Thriller!"; "The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!"; "Do vampires really exist?"; "From the famous novel & play by Bram Stoker") starring Bela Lugosi (in the title role as Count Dracula), David Manners, Helen Chandler, Dwight Frye (if there had been a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 1931, Frye would have surely won it for his wild over-the-top portrayal as Renfield!), Edward Van Sloan (as Professor Abraham Van Helsing), Frances Dade, and Herbert Bunston NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Who among us can afford the zillion dollar 1931 original one-sheet from this horror classic? To me, this 1960s re-release, with an excellent image, makes a very attractive alternative (especially considering that it is in excellent condition)! ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE AUCTIONED 5 DIFFERENT EXAMPLES OF THIS POSTER OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS. They all came from one consigner, who had obtained them when this re-release came out. The other examples auctioned for between $900 and $1200. THE EXAMPLE OFFERED HERE IS THE FINAL ONE OUR CONSIGNER HAS, SO IF YOU WANT AN EXAMPLE OF THIS POSTER, THIS IS YOUR FINAL OPPORTUNITY! Condition: fine. 1/2" of separation at the top crossfold; a few very tiny tears along the right of the top horizontal foldline that aren't very noticeable or distracting; 1" slightly diagonal creases at the left of the top horizontal foldline as well as some very minor creases along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster; poster was oddly folded off-center meaning that it doesn't form a perfect rectangle when folded Learn More about condition grades
