An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Three-Panel Movie Poster (3p; measures 38 1/2" x 78 1/2" [98 x 199 cm]) (Learn More)

Antar Yaghzou Al-Sahraa (literally translates to "Antar Conquers the Desert"), the 1960 Niazi Mostafa Lebanese historical action adventure melodrama starring Farid Shawqi (in the title role as Antar), Koka, Nahed Sherif, Nagah Salem, and Mariem Fakhr Eldin. Note that this was considered an "all-star" production and posters list 20 cast members. Also, Farid Shawqi went on to play Antar in a 1961 sequel, and he played Antar's son in a 1964 film.

Important Added Info: Note that we have been told that at this time in Egypt the movie distributors would print Egyptian one-sheets (similar in size to U.S. one-sheets). But apparently, they lacked the capability of printing larger posters, so they hired Italian printers to create them, and they printed posters that are just like Italian one-panels (in size and in paper type), but they have Egyptian writing on them. So we are calling them "Egyptian/Italian 3p" because we believe they were printed in Italy, but were used in Egypt. If anyone knows more about these posters, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this Italian three-panel was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: fair to good. There are some light water stains scattered in parts of the poster.
