Romero comic book horror compilation thriller ("First issue collectors' edition!"; "Five jolting tales of horror!"; "The most fun you'll ever have Being Scared!"; "The Masters of Terror and the Macabre George A. Romero [Director of 'Night of the Living Dead' and 'Dawn of the Dead'] & Stephen King [Author of 'Carrie', 'The Shining', 'The Stand', 'Firestarter', and 'Cujo']"; "Original Screenplay by Stephen King"; "A very scary movie coming soon!"; an hommage to the great horror E.C. Comics/EC Comics of the 1950s) starring Stephen King, Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, Fritz Weaver, Leslie Nielsen, Carrie Nye, E.G. Marshall, Viveca Lindfors ("as Aunt Bedelia"), Tom Savini (who was also the creator of many of the special effects), Darryl Ferrucci, John Amplas, Gaylen Ross, Tom Atkins, Warner Shook, . This was the first movie that Stephen King wrote the screenplay for (from his own novel), and also the first time he appeared as an actor! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jack Kamen Important Added Info: Note that this movie was an homage to the 1950s EC Comics, and for this international one-sheet, the producers of the movie hired original EC Comics artist Jack Kamen to create a one-sheet image that looks like a comic book cover in the original EC vein! The "regular" international one-sheet has the Kamen art with the boy reading a comic with a zombie on the cover. On the international advance one-sheet, the book the boy is reading has a picture of himself reading the book with that has the same picture, which is called an "infinity cover"! Also note that this is an "international" style one-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and NSS information. Finally, note that this is an advance one-sheet (note the "COMING SOON!" at the bottom of the poster). Condition: good. The poster has light rippling scattered in various areas with some slightly more noticeable rippling in the lower quarter. It has some light and fine creases scattered in various areas (see our image). There are some creases along portions of the vertical foldline. Fortunately the poster is otherwise "all there" and still colorful and after proper restoration it will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
