An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) John Agar was an actor from the 1940s to the 2000s, primarily in westerns (he is best remembered for his roles in John Ford westerns) and horror/sci-fi. Some of his movies include: Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Sands of Iwo Jima, Tarantula, Revenge of the Creature, and The Mole People. He was married to Shirley Temple for five years, and they had one child, and after they divorced, he remarried and he remained married until he passed away in 2002 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Agar! About the Collection this Item Comes From Note that this item (and 37 others we are auctioning this week, each in its own auction) was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of these 38 autographed items we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic!
