Willard Mack's The Voice of the City, the 1929 Willard Mack New York City crime murder mystery detective melodrama ("All Talking Picture"; about a young man wrongly accused of murder and how a detective at first thinks he is guilty, but comes to believe he is innocent, and he does all he can to find evidence to save him) starring Robert Ames, Jim Farley, Sylvia Field, Willard Mack, Clark Marshall, and John Miljan (who played the villain!). Note that you likely never heard of star Robert Ames, but he was a leading man of the 1920s and 1930s, who seemed to have a bright future, but his personal life was a mess, and he had four failed marriages, and he became an alcoholic, and died from it at age 42 in 1931, not too long after he starred in this movie.
