Sometimes they are found trimmed to 27" x 42", but the example offered here is complete and untrimmed! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some pretty minor fold wear, with a few small tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. It appears that after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired small paper loss in the upper part of the right blank border and it is slightly "lifting" from the linen in parts of the right blank border, and there is some damage to the excess linen. This can probably be repaired by a restorer without re-backing the poster, or it could certainly be re-backed, but bear this in mind before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
