The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Condition: very good. The poster was "starch backed", which means that it was moistened with a special starch solution, attached to a backing, allowed to dry, and then the poster had touch up while it was backed, and afterward, the backing was removed. This particular poster had creases and scuffs along the foldlines, some pinholes, creases, and small tears in the borders, and some smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. The poster looks fantastic, and it has had truly minor touch up (but the foldlines have been rendered almost invisible!), and best of all, it still completely looks and feels like an unrestored poster! Note that (perhaps after it was restored) the poster acquired a tiny chip in the left of the top blank border, but it is very minor. Learn More about condition grades
