Van Dyke (billed as "W.S. Note that MGM originally hired Austrian singer Grete Natzler (renamed "Della Lind") to play the role in this movie that ended up being played by Hungarian singer Ilona Massey. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that original release posters from this movie are extremely rare! I have never seen or heard of this window card before, and I have never sold a one-sheet from this movie! Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had a 6" vertical tear in the left center of the bottom of the card, going between the two stars' images. There was a crease and paper loss in the bottom right corner and creases in the other borders. There was a nail hole in the bottom of the "SA" of "ROSALIE" in the title. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
