Note that the word "gob" was an Americanism which referred to a sailor in the United States Navy, and it was commonly used in the U.S. from at least the 1920s to the 1940s, and was so commonly used that it was understood when it was used as part of this movie title, but surely modern day viewers would have no idea what that word means, because it has completely fallen into disuse.
