An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

The Magic Cup, the 1921 John S. Robertson silent newspaper reporter journalism melodrama (about a poor woman who works as a maid, who is in love with a journalist, and she has an expensive cup, and that leads her to discover that she is actually the granddaughter of a very rich family) starring Constance Binney, Vincent Coleman, Blanche Craig, William H. Strauss, and Charles Mussett. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that as in 2010 (and that same poster has been reconsigned to us for this auction!). Note also that this half-sheet is very old, and it would not make sense to attempt to roll it, as the paper is fragile enough that rolling it might damage it. Therefore we will send it in a large flat package. Please bear that extra shipping cost in mind BEFORE placing a bid on this poster! Note that the poster is not so fragile that it is "falling to pieces"! If it is handled carefully, it can absolutely be framed and enjoyed without any worry.

Condition: good. There are tears and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster with a few tape repairs on the back.
