James Bond 007 is a fictional English master spy secret agent created by Ian Fleming, and is the main character of the James Bond franchise. He has been portrayed in over 20 movies by several actors, including: Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, George Lazenby, and David Niven (in the parody movie Casino Royale), and has appeared in numerous books (which were written prior to the movies), television series, comics, and video games. Note that these local theater "lobby cards" were made in 2006 when these two movies showed at the Lafayette Theatre in Suffern, New York. They appear to have been created on a color copier. They do NOT show the scenes that are on the actual lobby cards, so they are "fantasy" lobby cards, with really cool scenes (see our images). We have never auctioned these before. The Lafayette Theatre is a nationally acclaimed movie palace that was built in 1923. Its primary function is first-run movies, but it also houses special events like its popular weekly Big Screen Classics film shows. It is also notable for housing a Wurlitzer theatre organ, which is played before Big Screen Classics shows. Measurements: 11" x 14"Condition: very good to fine.
