Footlight Varieties, the 1951 Hal Yates musical (this was a compilation of scenes from past RKO musical and comedy shorts, and they cleverly somewhat passed it off as a new movie!; "The screen's super vaudeville show!"; "What a screenshow! Big Comedy Musical Revue!"; "A new musical revue including highlights from RKO Film hits!"; "Gala 'stage show' on the screen!"; "Look at the names! Top Stars! Headline Acts!...The screen's big show-time cavalcade of sensations, jet-propelled for LAUGHS!"; "Stars of stage, screen, radio and night club in sensational songs, skits and specialties!... Fast-paced hour of exciting entertainment!") starring Leon Errol ("in 'He Forgot to Remember"), Jack Paar ("Master of Ceremonies"), The Sportsmen ("Novelty Quartette Numbers"), Liberace ("Sensation of the Keyboard"), Jerry Murad's Harmonicats ("and Two Terrific Tunes"), Frankie Carle ("and his Orchestra"), Red Buttons ("in his famous 'Autograph Book'"), Inesita ("sensational Spanish Dancer"), Buster West, Melissa Mason ("in a Dixieland Jamboree"), Grace Romanos ("Novelty Dance Presentation"), and Mamie Van Doren (in a bit part; billed as "Joan Olander"). Note that this was Red Buttons' first real movie appearance after two very minor appearances in the mid 1940s.
