Artist: Alberto Vargas Important Added Info: Note that this poster has artwork by Alberto Vargas, the famous Playboy & Esquire Magazine illustrator of female pin-ups, who did just a few movie posters (this artwork is not signed, but it is the same as the artwork on the one-sheet, which IS signed)! Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: good to very good. The poster had two extra horizontal foldlines and there were rough creases along several of the folds. There were creases, tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed. You can see signs of the restoration of the above defects from close up, but from any reasonable viewing distance, they are not very distracting at all.
