Learn More UPDATED 06/03/2013: Note that we initially mentioned that this poster was dry-mounted to a board and then linenbacked. However, the consignor of this item contacted us to say that this was incorrect and that the poster was attached to very thick Japanese rice paper prior to being linenbacked. We have updated the auction accordingly. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Note that this poster was attached to very thick Japanese rice paper prior to being linenbacked. The poster had some creases and tiny tears on the folds, and it had a 6" tear near the middle of the left border, with a 2" tear in the lower left border, and some tiny tears and smudges around the rest of the poster. The restorer did some restoration to the above defects, but you can still see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
