An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26 3/4" x 36 3/4" [68 x 93 cm]) (Learn More) La Corona Negra (released in English-speaking countries as "Black Crown"), the 1951 Luis Saslavsky Spanish/French romantic mystery thriller (based on a story by Jean Cocteau; about a woman who has amnesia, and she meets a man who tries to help her while he is falling for her, but she has a very complicated past, including a dead husband who she may have killed, and a man who is convinced she is hiding her dead husband's jewels and thinks she is faking amnesia) starring Maria Felix, Rossano Brazzi, Vittorio Gassmann, Jose Maria Lado, and Antonia Plana. Note that this movie is like 1940s film noir movies, based on a Jean Cocteau story, and it has many dream sequences and surreal sequences. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Juanino Renau Berenguer Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had minor fold wear and pinholes around the edges. It had the title of the poster written on the back of the middle of the vertical fold, which somewhat bled through to the front in the woman's cheek. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see slight signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
