An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Bowery At Midnight, the 1942 Wallace Fox New York City horror crime thriller (borrowing from several Lon Chaney Sr. movies, Lugosi is a kindly professor who runs a soup kitchen by day, and a criminal mastermind by night; in a plot twist, he murders his henchmen and turns them into zombies!) starring Bela Lugosi, John Archer, Wanda McKay, Tom Neal, and Vince Barnett NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. There is marker writing on the back of the poster that bleeds through to the front in Lugosi's image at upper left. The poster has become slightly brittle with age and there is separation and tattering at the crossfolds and along the top of the vertical fold. It seems likely that the marker writing can be removed through chemical means during the linenbacking process and the poster will surely display quite nicely with little paint restoration needed!
