Wodehouse"; oddly, this was a remake of a 1919 movie based on a P.G. Wodehouse story, with much music by George and Ira Gershwin; the grafting of musical comedy onto a serious story was not received well at the box office, but the movie is worth seeing for its great star power) starring Fred Astaire, George Burns & Gracie Allen (Burns & Allen of 1950s TV fame!), Joan Fontaine, Reginald Gardiner, Ray Noble, Constance Collier, Montagu Love, and Harry Watson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair. Unfortunately, someone put marks on Astaire's mouth and on a few of the women's faces. There is a 1/2" tear in the bottom border and a few smudges around the edges.
