Zanuck; note that IMDB lists William Faulkner as an uncredited writer for this movie; about a British Army officer in India who seems to have committed a blunder that cost the lives of many of his men; he appears to commit suicide, and his four sons try to determine what occurred, and to clear his name) starring Loretta Young, Richard Greene, George Sanders, David Niven, C. Aubrey Smith, J. Edward Bromberg, William Henry, John Carradine, Alan Hale Sr., Reginald Denny, Berton Churchill, and Barry Fitzgerald
