Note that Mr. Vallee hand wrote the entire letter in 1942, and the still is a vintage still from 1947, which he may have signed then or at a later date. Measurements: from 7" x 10 1/2" to 8" x 10"Rudy Vallee was a famous band leader and actor from the 1930s through the 1950s and then took a few film roles in the 1960s and 1970s, and he added much to those movies, and seeing them makes you wish he had done more of them! Some of his best remembered movies include: The Palm Beach Story, Unfaithfully Yours, I Remember Mama, The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He passed away in 1986 at the age of 84. Note that the items in this lot are from 1942 to 1947. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Condition: very good.
