Note that star Marlon Brando had a fascination for Tahitian women, which was a major factor in his wanting to make this movie. Before this film, he sought out and married Movita, who had starred in the 1935 version with Clark Gable, having two children with her. After the filming of this movie, he had an affair with Tarita, who played the role Movita had played in 1935, and he married and had two children with her as well! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this British quad was folded vertically three times and horizontally once. Because of this, this quad could either be sent in one of our oversized flat packages or in a tube, but the tube will likely cost less than the oversized flat package (because even when the poster is fully folded, it will not fit in our standard mailers). If the poster is purchased with items that MUST be sent flat, than it would likely be better to re-fold this item, so all the items can be sent in a single flat package. But please realize that because this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time it is likely that the creases have diminished and therefore re-folding the poster will likely bring some of those creases back, but we leave that decision as to whether or not to re-fold the poster up to the individual buyer of this item. UNLESS THE BUYER TELLS US OTHERWISE, THIS QUAD WILL BE SENT ROLLED IN A TUBE. Condition: good to very good. There is a 4" tear in the left of the top border. Learn More about condition grades
