An Original Vintage Tri-Folded International Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 81" x 81") (Learn More) McCabe and Mrs. Miller (released in other English-speaking countries as "John Mac Cabe"), the 1971 Robert Altman gambling romantic cowboy western ("Name your poison"; "The story of a gambling man and a hustling lady and the empire they fashioned from the wilderness."; "Purveyors of paradise."; "The story of a gambling man and a hustling woman... And trouble in the town of Presbyterian Church"; "Mister John C. McCabe & Mrs. Constance Miller-Town of Presbyterian Church 1902"; "Based on the novel 'McCabe' by Edmund Naughton") starring Warren Beatty (in the title role as John McCabe), Julie Christie (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Constance Miller), Rene Auberjonois (in his fourth credited movie role!), William Devane, Shelley Duvall, and Keith Carradine NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Richard Amsel Important Added Info: This six-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with six-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded six-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 16" x 38", so they cost more to send than regularly folded six-sheets. This six-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Also note that this is an "international" style six-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and NSS information. Condition: fine. The poster was clearly never used (it was printed intended for theater use, but never made it out of the distributor's warehouse!). It has very minor creases and smudges (likely caused by being opened and closed over the years). It is overall in quite nice condition! This item is in REALLY nice condition (what many dealers would describe as "fine" or "near mint")! It has only the very most minor of defects! We only put this "fine" grade on approximately 1 in 4 of the items we are selling. We saved it for the very best ones, ones that we thought would be acceptable to EVERY collector, no matter how condition conscious they are! Learn More about condition grades
