Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the classic 1937 David Hand Walt Disney animated animation family romantic fairy-tale fantasy musical cartoon ("His first full length feature production"; "In the Marvelous Multiplane Technicolor"; "Behold The Miracle of the Movies! Coming to amaze you, charm you, thrill you!"; "With Eight new songs as catching as 'The Big Bad Wolf.'"; "To thrill you"; "Merriment!"; "Melody!"; "Magic!"; "The dwarfs sing their marching song on the way to work."; "Walt Disney's first full length feature production"; "The show sensation of the generation!"; "Wondrously filmed in all the glories of the marvelous multiplane Technicolor"; "The Screen's Supreme Thrill! 1,000 artists worked three years to give you this once-in-a-lifetime show!... A full hour and a half of the most enthralling entertainment you ever experienced... truly the miracle in motion pictures!") featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti (in the title role as Snow White), Harry Stockwell (as the Prince), Lucille La Verne, Moroni Olsen, and Stuart Buchanan. Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. note that this card has had more restoration than the other seven Snow White cards we are offering. This card had a 6" tear in the lower right of the image beginning in the bottom border and extending between Dopey and Grumpy. It also had a 3" tear in the top center of the card running down into the "W" of "SNOW". It also appears there were some stains and smudges around the edges of the card (more so in the top center of the card). A talented restorer mounted this card on to a very light paper backing, and it is now barely thicker than a regular lobby card. During the backing process, the restorer repaired the two tears and did restoration around the edges of the card. It was very well done, but one can see a difference in the whiteness of the card in the top center area, especially in the "W" of "SNOW". But from any distance away, the card looks wonderful, and there does not seem to be any restoration in the image area other than to repair the long tear. Learn More about condition grades
