Berke detective mystery crime thriller ("Target for a kiss... or a killer!"; "Murder axis traps Latin beauty...!"; "Blonde beauty traps the Falcon!"; "Based upon the character created by Michael Arlen") starring Tom Conway (in the title role as The Falcon), Madge Meredith, Edward S. Brophy, Robert Warwick, Myrna Dell, Steve Brodie, Phil Warren, and Joseph Crehan. Note that this is one of twelve movies that starred Tom Conway as The Falcon. In the first three movies, George Sanders (who had previously played "The Saint" in a series of movies) played The Falcon, but he apparently tired of the role, and wanted to leave, and instead of ending the series, or having a new actor play the role, he passed it on to Tom Conway in the fourth movie, "The Falcon's Brother" (they played brothers in the movie and in real life they were brothers!) in a clever move, the script had George Sanders' character killed, and his brother, played by Tom Conway, shows up and solves his murder, and becomes the "new" Falcon; and Conway went on to make a total of twelve Falcon movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with some smudges scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
