An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Michael Whalen was an actor from 1935 to the 1960s. He appeared opposite many Hollywood actresses (such as Alice Faye, Gloria Stuart, Claire Trevor and June Lang) in B movies, playing a series of virile, flashy roles. He also had the adult male leads in two Shirley Temple films (Poor Little Rich Girl and Wee Willie Winkie). Some of his other movies include: The Dawn Express, Sign of the Wolf, Outside These Walls. He never married and lived with his mother until her passing, and there are stories that suggest he might have been a closeted gay homosexual actor in the days when that would have ruined one's career. He passed away in 1974 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Michael Whalen!
