Go For Broke!, the 1951 Robert Pirosh World War II (WWII) military action thriller ("MGM's Successor to Famed 'Battleground'"; "[means 'Shoot The Works!']"; "Objective within sight"; "'They made the pants too long.'"; "It was a talented musical outfit!"; "'The uke player from Hawaii' is one of a talented musical outfit!"; "'Come in, we dance!"'; about Japanese-American soldiers fighting in WWII) starring Van Johnson, The Heroes of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Lane Nakano, George Miki, Akira Fukunaga, Ken K. Okamoto, Gianna Maria Canale (billed as "Gianna Canale"), and "The Heroes of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team". Note that when this movie was made in 1951, the expression "Go for broke!" had recently been coined, so the designers of the posters felt a need to explain what the title meant with a definition directly under the title.
