An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) The Lone Star Ranger, the 1930 A. F. Erickson Texas Rangers romantic cowboy western ("Zane Grey's First All Talking Picture"; "Photographed in Rainbow Arch, Utah"; based on the novel by Zane Grey; about a man who kills in self defense, but is accused of murder, and he joins the Texas Rangers to clear himself; later, he falls for a girl, but she doesn't know that her father is the head of a gang of bandits) starring George O'Brien, Sue Carol, Walter McGrail, Warren Hymer, Russell Simpson, Elizabeth Patterson, and Walter McGrail NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster was tattered in the top border, and the restorer put new paper over the top blank border. They then painted the borders below that new paper to "even them out", including the background around the words "FIRST ALL TALKING PICTURE" at the top. The restorer did a very little bit of touch up to the image area, but generally that was in nice condition prior to paperbacking. The poster really looks quite nice!
