This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good to very good. The poster was basically just mounted without restoration. There is fine surface paper loss along the foldlines (typical of posters of this era) and there are creases down the top of the vertical fold (in the solid black area), and white surface "dot" scuffs across the center foldline. A restorer could certainly touch up the black area without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
