Rex Beach's The Spoilers, the 1930 Edward Carewe Alaska gold mining romantic melodrama ("Rex Beach's immortal story"; "You've never seen this picture before!"; "Strong Men - in their grim struggle! Women- of one kind or another! Love-hate-conflict in a land where a weakling didn't belong!"; "Greatest of Yukon romances!"; based on the novel "by Rex Beach"; about three men who have a gold mine in Alaska, but local crooks who run the town try to legally steal it away from them) starring Gary Cooper, Kay Johnson, Betty Compson, William 'Stage' Boyd, Harry Green, Slim Summerville, Oscar Apfel, and William Farnum (in a bit part as a fight spectator; he played the original hero in the 1914 version of this movie!). Note that there were two silent movies based on this same Rex Beach novel (in 1914 and 1923), and two later sound versions (in 1942 and 1956).

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this style A one-sheet, and that was 28 years ago, when it sold for $1,955!

Condition: very good. The poster has two evenly spaced vertical folds instead of the usual one. It has some creases along the folds and in parts of the borders, with a 1" tear in the lower right border, and tiny pinholes in the corners. It has likely survived in about as good condition as one could have hoped!
