Rice Krispies is a breakfast cereal that was created by Clayton Rindlisbacher for the Kellogg company in 1927. Rice Krispies are made of crisped rice with thin and hollowed out walls that are crunchy and crisp. When the cereal is subjected to a change in heat, the walls tend to collapse, creating the famous "Snap, crackle and pop" sounds. The elfin cartoon characters Snap, Crackle, and Pop have long been associated with the marketing of the brand.
