Come On, Cowboy!, the 1948 Toddy Pictures black African American musical cowboy western comedy ("Yippee! Mantan rides again -- a riot of songs and laffs in this roaring musical western!"; "All star colored cast feature") starring Mantan Moreland, Mauryne Brent, Johnny Lee, and F.E. Miller (Flourney E. Miller). Note that Flourney Miller was a major figure in black Broadway musical history, performing and writing with his partner Aubrey Lyles. After Lyles passed away in 1933, Miller appeared in a number of all-black movies in the 1930s and 1940s.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great!

Condition: fair. There is much tattering along the foldlines and edges of the poster with some areas of paper loss. The poster is creased and rippled throughout. There is some discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture.
