An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Swan, the 1925 Dimitri Buchowetzki silent romantic love triangle royalty comedy (about a princess who is engaged to a prince that she does not love, and she meets a commoner that she does love, and after many trials and tribulations, they are united!) starring Adolphe Menjou, Ricardo Cortez, Frances Howard, Ida Waterman, and Helen Lindroth. Note that this movie was remade twice, first in 1930 with Lillian Gish as the princess (titled "One Romantic Night"), and again in 1956 with Grace Kelly in the same role. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
